Callie's Story

As a kitten small enough to crawl through the lattice work on the patio Callie came looking for food and water. She had no fear of the other cats and they accepted her instantly. For a while she came and went until she either got too big to get out or just decided this was a good deal and stayed. She was pretty feral at first. Gradually she let me touch her and then pet her. She is still quite quirky but enjoys sleeping on my bed and will jump on my lap for attention. Although I am able to stroke and pet her, she is warry of strangers. She goes ballistic if I try to pick her up. She is three years old.
